Director of Global Lawyering Skills at McGeorge School of Law, Professor Mary-Beth Moylan will discuss the required skills to successfully practice in foreign legal systems, how to obtain intercultural competence, and cross-cultural considerations in the practice of law.

Professor Moylan is the co-author of Global Lawyering Skills (West 2013), a legal skills textbook that is unique in the market for its focus on cross-border and cross-cultural considerations in lawyering skills and practice. Professor Moylan previously served as President of the highly respected and influential Association of Legal Writing Directors (ALWD) from 2014 to 2015 and recently presented on a mediation panel at the Global Legal Skills Conference in Verona, Italy.
